The event is organized by the Municipality of Brezovo, together with the Green Synergy Cluster, and was aimed at all citizens of the Municipality of Brezovo who would like to learn more about the possibilities of implementing RES in their households, as well as to get to know the REVERTER project, which aims to reduce energy poverty in the region, by implementing roadmaps for building renovation.
In the first part of the event, the REVRETER project was presented, in which the Municipality of Brezovo and the Green Synergy Cluster are partners, along with 10 other partners from 5 European countries.
The project aims to develop 9 roadmaps to reduce energy poverty by improving energy efficiency in households. The project targets vulnerable areas or groups of buildings (eg residential buildings and social housing) to reduce energy poverty by promoting deep renovation measures. For the municipality of Brezovo, 3 road maps will be created for single-family, multi-family residential buildings and buildings with social purpose, respectively.
Also within the project will be implemented the so-calledOne-stop renovation service that will provide comprehensive information and support citizens in the entire renewal process: from the idea to its implementation at all stages – documentation, decision-making, advice, application, etc.
The project will test the roadmaps by creating a One Stop Shop for renewal in four European countries
- Brezevo-Bulgaria
- Athens, Greece
- Riga, Latvia
- Coimbra-Portugal
The meeting also presented the possibilities for the realization of photovoltaic installations within the framework of procedure BG-RRP-4.026 Support for energy from renewable sources for households. The objective of the program is to increase the use of renewable energy in the final energy consumption in the Household sector by providing financing for:
Component 1: Purchase of solar installations for domestic hot water supply (DHW) – up to BGN 1,960.83, with 100% financing from the program.
Component 2: Purchase of photovoltaic systems up to 10 kWp, including electrical energy storage systems – up to 70% of the value of the system, but not more than BGN 15,000.
In connection with the above procedure, the company Kukov and Co. Ltd. to deliver a presentation on the topic of building home photovoltaic systems. The representatives of the company explained to the attendees what are the main components of a photovoltaic system, what are the different types of structures and panels and indicated the most important parameters of photovoltaic installations. The company also presented some approximate calculations and financial analysis for the construction of a photovoltaic installation with an energy storage system.
Within the framework of the REVERTER project, other similar information days are to be organized in order to acquaint the citizens of the Municipality of Brezovo with various financing programs and initiatives, as well as with the activities of the project.
