On 1.07.2020 Green Synergy Cluster launched the project “Support for sustainable development of Green Synergy, aiming to establish innovative infrastructure”. The project is funded by the Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 and co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
The project aims to provide support to stimulate innovative cooperation between the member organizations of the Cluster, through the joint use of innovative technologies and the exchange and transfer of knowledge. The project allows the expansion of research and innovation capacity in the field of clean technologies and biotechnologies, and in particular in the utilization of waste products, co-products and renewable raw materials in a new type of products and energy sources. At the same time, the project contributes to the strong strengthening of links and cooperation between the cluster and its research, innovation and academic organizations. The project also facilitates access to innovative technologies and expertise needed to strengthen and renew the innovation and development activities of the cluster.
The overall goal of the project proposal is to develop innovation in the field of clean technologies “in the South Central region through the implementation and joint use of innovation infrastructure, as well as achieving effective exchange of knowledge, experience and knowledge transfer.
For this purpose, activities for Promotion of cluster marketing, resource provision of research staff of the cluster and development of innovative cluster infrastructure through the purchase and delivery of innovative assets are envisaged.
The project has a duration of 24 months and has a total value of BGN 2,176,204, of which 1,454,013 grants.
In accordance with the rules laid down in Regulation (EU) № 651/2011 on the conditions for ensuring transparency, equal treatment and openness in access to the premises, facilities and activities of the cluster for all full members of the organization, they will be published by the end of 2020
